| DuraBeryllium™ windows are composed of high purity beryllium and a thin layer of DuraCoat™. DuraCoat is a low-Z material that when applied to beryllium creates a hermetic, corrosion resistant window that is used for ultra-high vacuum applications. DuraBeryllium is resistant to atmospheric moisture, chemicals, and abrasion. DuraBeryllium windows can be cleaned using most solvents and is not a health hazard. Moxtek is capable of attaching and coating beryllium windows as thin as 8 µm. | |||||||
